Each year, September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.
Let’s honour the innocent lives lost. It symbolises that every child is important, including the ones who lose their lives and the adults who are still healing from their difficult time at residential schools.
$2.00 from every purchase from this collection will be donated by Pink Willow Designs to show support for the Orange Shirt Society
